Disqus/Community Board Rules and Guidelines

The following are not allowed on TransKindness Community Boards (similar rules as Disqus with website-specific extras):

Boards are moderated, reporting abuse is encouraged, & TransKindness has the final say
(my website, my rules, but I am very fair and open-minded!)

• Targeted harassment or encouraging others to do so
• Spam
• Impersonation
• Direct threat of harm
• Posting personally identifiable information
• Inappropriate profile content
• AI-generated content (edited photos/videos of real subjects are fine)
• Political content

Targeted harassment or encouraging others to do so
The targeted and systematic harassment of people has no place on Disqus, nor do we tolerate communities dedicated to fostering harassing behavior.

Spam
Examples include 1) comments posted in large quantities to promote a product or service, 2) the exact same comment posted repeatedly to disrupt a thread, 3) following users multiple times
Possible exception: posting within reason business or event information of interest to the Transgender Community (eg., event reminder posted once a week or a new business recommendation.) Moderators will have final say on the appropriateness of any post.

Impersonation
You may not impersonate others in a manner that does or is intended to mislead, confuse, or deceive others.

Direct threat of harm
This covers active threats of harm directed towards a specific person or defined group of individuals. Contact local authorities if you feel a crime has been committed or is imminent.

Posting personally identifiable information
Examples of protected information: credit card number, home/work address, phone number, email address, social security number. Real name isn't currently covered.

Inappropriate profile content
Graphic media containing violence and pornographic content are not allowed. Profile content allowed by Disqus may not be allowed on all communities, so report such profiles to the site moderator.
Possible exception: posts containing surgical procedures, including photos and videos. Contact TransKindness before posting anything considered very graphic.

No personal or financial data is stored by transkindness.com after an online purchase. Tax information from any or all of these companies involving gross and net sales, profits, and any other necessary records may be sent to transkindness.com for tax purposes. Cookies may be place on your device by any or all of these companies to complete any purchases you make through transkindness.com. Information (bank names, routing number, account numbers, etc.) collected offline via check or money order, other than basic contact information, will not be stored at any location directly affiliated with transkindness.com.
